Cymatics
Cymatics has a massive library of free sample packs. But not just a few sounds per pack, the packs are stacked! Many other companies would charge $20+ for some of these packs.
Don’t forget to check their main page as they typically have more free packs there that aren’t listed on their free page.
Sample Swap
I stumbled upon Sample Swap in my first week of producing beats and what a find it was. You can download any of the sounds for free and they have a large archive of royalty-free music too!
I signed up for their email list which sends me an email every few months with a convenient download of many new sounds. Definitely worth checking out!
Slap Experts
Slap Experts has many high-quality sample packs available to download. The Oh Gosh Essentials, Cupcakin, and Stoic are must-haves and have some of the nicest drums and 808’s.
Check out their plugins too, they offer 7, 15, and 30 rewards that will give you free sample packs and coupons for their site. Start with their free plugin Beat Timer!
The Kount
The Kount makes high-quality drum packs that sound out of this world. If you can afford his main packs they are well worth it. But, if you can’t he has many free packs that sound amazing!
I recommend downloading them all and organizing them into one folder to make them easier to use.
VST Buzz
VST Buzz has a wide variety of free sample packs that offer sounds for many different genres! Yes, they even have a toaster percussion pack.
Check them out as they also have massive discounts on plugins every week!
Samplephonics
Samplephonics has a lot of sampler sample packs available to download. With a variety of sounds to choose from it can be a great way to experiment with new sounds or genres too!
