Instrumental Beats (Volume 01)
Instrumental Beats (Volume 01) is an attempt at making trap beats that artists could write lyrics over to play in the background without being too distracting.
It was a fun project to do in 2023 and made me think more about song arrangements and not going too over-the-top with the instruments.
Reese
Reese came about in 2022 during Beat Experiments 340 – 380. It was my attempt at doing a chill, trap bass sound.
The initial inspiration behind these songs came from watching MotoVlogs. I wanted to see if I could make background music for them, but it soon evolved into something more!
Beat Test Experiments
Beat Test Experiments is a collection of 100 beats I created in late 2020 and early 2021. I started this project to learn how to use FL Studio 20 and how to make beats.
Initially, I was going to keep these songs private, but instead of letting them become lost in the hard drive, I made them public to show my progress as an artist and preserve the songs I made!
Alphabetical Keys II
Alphabetical Keys II is the continuation of Alphabetical Keys. The difference is I wanted to want to make a song in every key, but using the minor keys!
Alphabetical Keys
Alphabetical Keys is the first musical project I had with a goal in mind. I just bought a Blue Yeti microphone and a MacBook Pro with GarageBand. I was eager to record after not playing guitar that often for an entire year! I really wanted to test my songwriting abilities so my goal was to make a unique-sounding song in every (major) key.
Smile
Smile was recorded in the summer of 2011. It’s a blend of acoustic, electric, and instrumental. It was a hard summer but also an exciting one as I was getting ready to change my life!
This is the last album that used the Boss Micro BR to record my guitar and I wouldn’t see Fruity Loops again until 2020!
Invasion
Invasion was recorded in 2009-2010 and was my first introduction to Fruity Loops! This album is the result of metal meeting techno, sounds like it may not match, but I think I did a good job at nailing it! But, like many of my older albums, it is a mixed bag of not only metal/techno songs, but jazz, and dreamy songs too!
LifeStory
LifeStory was recorded in 2008 and is an acoustic and electric guitar album. It’s a collection of some of the first songs I’ve ever written and recorded! It has classical, jazz, alternative, and dreamy elements throughout.
Listening to this you can easily see the early startings of my music style to this day!
